The head of the Arab League has criticised the US/UK/EU strikes on Libya because of the civilian deaths.
When the Arab League was given instructions by their Western masters to support military intervention did they not realise that civilians would be killed?
Have they not seen regular US drones firing missiles on unarmed civilians in Pakistan’s tribal areas? Did they not see children killed by Coalition troops in North Waziristan only days ago? Have they forgotten Iraq and Afghanistan?
They are too busy worrying about their thrones to worry about the effects of this mission on ordinary people.
They have, once again, opened the doors to western colonial powers to enter Muslim lands, to interfere, control and exploit.
It is these rulers, the ‘brothers’ of Muammar Gaddafi and Hosni Mubarak who allow the harm to come to the people of the region. It’s these rulers and their regimes that’s the problem in our countries. It is they who are the primary obstacle to freeing ourselves from colonial slavery.
