American Chief of Staff Mike Mullen: “In every conversation with my Egyptian counterparts, they always reassert – without my asking – that they want to retain the peace with Israel”
On September 24th, the Egyptian newspaper Liberation quoted Admiral Mike Mullen Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff saying that Egypt is committed to maintaining peace with Israel. He stated, while at a fundraising party organised on Wednesday (21st Sept.) for a Jewish primary school in Washington, “In every conversation with my Egyptian counterparts, they always reassert – without my asking – that they want to retain the peace with Israel”. The US Defence Dept Media Office drew attention to his statement, and further made note that Mullen praised the Egyptian military leadership and the “self-restraint” it had shown towards the demonstrators who deposed President Mubarak, and that the longstanding relationship between the two military establishments remained strong and would contribute to supporting Egypt during this critical time. The statement noted that Mullen has a “very strong relationship” with his Egyptian counterpart, Lt General Sami Enan and has talked with him “dozens of times or more” in recent months as the country works its way towards democracy. Mullen added that “he (i.e. Sami Enan) wants us to stay in this relationship”. During the fundraising party, Mullen made further remarks concerning his interaction with leading figures and the military leadership, noting that he visited Pakistan 27 times in the last four years.
These statements indeed indicate the extent of America’s infiltration and interference in Egypt’s internal and external affairs, or rather the extent to which America directs Egypt’s policies, and the extent of her scorn and belittling of the Egyptian people. It also indicates the extent to which the regime in Egypt offers its loyalty and obedience to America; it is such that the regime’s leading figures are motivated to offer any word or action which pleases the Americans by achieving their interests, or those of the Israeli state, without them even asking. In this they pay no regard to how much harm is inflicted on the people of Egypt, as though “congratulations are for the Americans and to the Israelis for this loyalty, and wretchedness to the Egyptian people for their bogus leadership!”
These statements indicate clearly that the system of the deposed president is still in power, and Egypt after the revolution is the same Egypt as before the revolution. These last few months, in which Mullen spoke dozens of times to his Egyptian counterparts, have been about outflanking the revolution and aborting it, and protecting the system out of fear that Islam may reach power.
Is it not wajib (obligatory) that Mullen, his country’s ambassador and the ambassador of their Israeli foster child be expelled in the strongest manner? Is it not wajib that the affairs of the people are managed with truth and justice, according to the Sharee’ah of Allah? Is it not more befitting that the army of Egypt, when the Israelis kill soldiers in the Sinai, responds (like Haroon ar-Rasheed) with “an answer that you will see, not hear about”, and so it prepares the forces to uproot the Jewish state and liberate Masjid al-Aqsa?
Also, what is it that Mullen sought in his 27 visits to Pakistan, other than planning with his Pakistani counterparts to kill Muslims in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and before that in Iraq.
The Muslims of Egypt must understand that there is no solution except through the implementation of theSharee’ah of Allah, through the Khilafah state, which will cut off the roots of the colonialist Kuffar, whether American or Israelis; and it will return justice, honour, and good guardianship of the people of Egypt. Tomorrow is close for those who await it.
“Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession (to authority) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them (therein) their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them security, after their fear.” [TMQ An-Nur 24:55]
